Business Services
The Barn development has allowed us to
significantly improve our range of business services for residents of,
and visitors to, the two dales of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale:
- Fully serviced office accommodation. We
offer a mailbox and address service, secure individual space on our
network, filing cabinets and desk space.
- Hot desks - hourly, daily, or weekly. If
your home office is taking over your house, try using some of our space
instead, away from the distractions of home.
- Confidential interview room.
- All the above are available in a self contained building with full access for people with difficulty walking.
In the main building:
- Large meeting room with data projector and white board. Seats 16 or so around the tables, 30 for presentations or talks.
- Use of PC and printers.
- Business advice and courses, through Business Link. If you need any specific business advice, please ask.
- Access to North Yorkshire and Richmondshire District Council services, including one-to-one meetings.

Subsequent alterations to details are charged at a one-off fee of £10.

£15.00 per hour, meeting only, without computer and internet use.
£20.00 per hour, to include computer and internet use.
This includes the use of A4 printer, and cost of paper, ink &
sundries to a maximum of 20 pages. Thereafter printing is charged at
the standard rate.

£10.00 per hour, meeting only, without computer and internet use.
A session consists of either a Morning, Afternoon or Evening period.

Full Time Tenants: Annual Charge - £1,800 plus telephone charges.
Daily Rate: £35.00, plus telephone charges.
Hourly Rate: £10.00 for first hour plus telephone charges
Subsequent hours or part of hour: £5.00.

The red tape team ‘Burdens Beater’ CD is now available from Hudson House, free of charge.
The CD offers advice on Fire Safety and
Smoking regulations, changes to the Companies Act, Age legislation,
data protection and a host of other topics, all in one place and
invaluable to anyone in business, or thinking of starting one.
The CD also contains contact details for major business organisations.
